Caillez Lemaire Éclats

A blend of the three main grapes from three terroirs in and around Damery. The nose is full of white fruit, citrus, flowers and notes of almond. It's nice and smokey on the front end, followed by warm tropical notes and a toasty layer alongside some honey and red apple. The finish brings lovely salinity and texture with dried exotic elements.

We totally fell in love with this producer when we first visited nearly 10 years ago. Based in Damery, with vines in 57 plots in 7 villages, predominantly Meunier, their wines show a crisp style and age like legends. They acquired the HVE certificate recently and there is a real honesty to their winemaking and wines.
